We are writing to you to ask for a small favour. As you may or may not know, we produce great improvised shows for children based on famous faerie tales with a hilarious twist. The actors are some of Toronto’s top improvisors and bring a great amount of talent and laughter to the stage for not only the children, but for adults alike.
Cow Over Moon has been around for over 14 years producing such classics as Chicken Licken, Jack Frost, Three Magic Wishes and Three Billy Goats Gruff. In the past few years, Cow Over Moon has also been delighting audiences at the Toronto Fringe Festival and has always been a top seller at the Kids Venue! NOW Magazine has called it, “…a winning combination for young viewers and their parents” and EYE Magazine raved about our last show, Chicken LIcken, giving it 5 stars (out of 5!) and said, “This play is brilliant…. This will be one of the most fun hours you’ll spend with your kids all summer”.
We are all very proud of where the company has come from and the potential of where it could go in the future!
Last year we launched a fundraising campaign called “Jump Over The Moon” as we had received charitable status. The campaign was a huge success for us thanks to people like yourself. We managed to raise $1,800 in just a few weeks. Those donations went a long way to helping create a fantastic production of Jack Frost. As we begin production on our next show, The Gingerbread Guy premiering this December, we are once again reaching out to you.
All we need is a $20 donation! If you want to donate more, we would be happy to accept it, naturally, but really all we’re asking for is $20 to help put on The Gingerbread Guy. Your donation will go a long way to helping pay our brilliant actors, market the show to new communities and strengthen the relationship with our current subscribers, rent the theatre and help pay for our phenomenal administrative team! And the best part is that we can give you a tax receipt for your generous help!
